翔宇生醫科技股份有限公司成立於2011年6月，係董事長蔡博士在取得台灣大學醫學院生化所博士學位並赴美國哈佛大學進行博士後研究，取得幹細胞專業技術及知識後，有鑑於台灣生技產業發展難以與國際型大藥廠及生技公司競爭之瓶頸，而回台創立之，旨在經營屬於亞洲人特有的幹細胞技術，從自體幹細胞治療的特點，希望建立屬於在地型醫療服務團隊，並將服務區域擴大至大中國區及泛亞地區。
