於2002年由臺中市政府文化局登錄為歷史建築的臺中放送局，擁有最多扇窗戶的建築物，共有94扇窗，因應不同機能性，設計出不一樣窗型的窗戶，從日出到日落，看見不同色彩與情緒的臺中放送局，除了多扇窗的設計之外，外貌上，更是所謂『過度式樣』現代類型的建築，直接地述說它所成長的歷史背景風貌，更多放送局的故事與特色，等著您一一探掘。
