究境建築由沈弘軒、吳承軒和魏子鈞在2011年創立，三人先後由英國倫敦大學以及荷蘭 Berlage Institute 留學工作回來後即投入研究與設計，提出建築應該展現其真實樣貌，重構出與生活的對應。在2013年成立台中事務所後，究境建築展現了高密度的工作能量，作品含括各個尺度的建築，從傢俱設計到都市規劃，都展現了將建築
