1991年長鴻出版社創立。以益智、休閒為導向，專營漫畫與兒童讀物的出版、發行。長鴻取得日本小學館、講談社、集英社、秋田書店授權在臺發行1500種以上的漫畫單行本，並爭取知名的美國『X-MEN』及『BATMAN』在臺發行權利。盼能帶給社會多元欣賞管道，同時積極培養本土漫畫家，希望能帶給台灣嶄新觀點，並激發台灣文創軟實力的創造契機。
